A major food producer desired to install three next generation slicing and packaging lines for a square product. The lines were to incorporate state of the art sanitation and packaging technology.
Foth was responsible for the overall line design including the integration of high speed slicing technology, sanitary system design, removal and installation construction plans, and all activities associated with start-up and commissioning for this project.
The next generation upgrade provided effective and efficient automation that allowed for operating labor reductions, the elimination of operator intervention between log stripping and case removal, and an overall reduction in sanitation between product runs. The project was recognized by the client for implementation ahead of schedule and within original budget.
