To keep pace with demand for its product, our client needed a new centralized raw receiving building and a new production facility—almost doubling production.
This project featured numerous challenges: a centralized building to unload, sorting and storage of raw potatoes, a pipe bridge to transport potatoes to three production buildings, and a new processing plant capable of doubling production.
We coordinated with our client’s preferred vendors and contractors from the earliest phases of the project. Ongoing collaboration allowed us to deliver a realistic budget, enhance constructability and improve the functionality of the plant. We worked with suppliers to select equipment with components that would deliver a higher level of usability and production. Foth produced over twenty construction bid packages within the required period, ensuring project schedule remained intact.
Our client achieved their goal of producing 25,000 lbs/hr to meet their customer demand. Close, intentional communication between the owner, their preferred contractor, Foth and other stakeholders resulted in a best-in-class facility, delivered on an aggressive schedule.
